This refreshing drink is a great way to start the morning if you are short on time or to refuel after a workout! Smoothie recipes are very flexible, so feel free to substitute your favorite seasonal fruits. Don’t be “afraid” of using tofu in this smoothie, no one will ever know you added it! Use the other half of the “box” of silken tofu in Creamy Cilantro Lime Dressing!

Ingredients
1 orange, peeled
1 banana, frozen
1/2 cup strawberries
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp flax seed
1/2 cup apple (cored, but not peeled)
6 oz silken tofu (1/2 “box”)

ice/water to thin (per preference)

Procedure
Combine all ingredients in blender and enjoy! Add a small amount of ice and/or water to thin to your liking!
Makes 2 servings.

BONUS points for adding fresh greens or sprouts!
