As I put my heart, time, effort (blood, sweat and tears) into bringing the most current and useful information about nutrition and health to those around me, alas, I cannot will others to apply this life-improving, even life-saving information. While it can be tempting to become disgruntled as so many continue to choose foods that will damage their health and let days pass without exercise, I dig deep to stay eternally hopeful. When I begin to question whether I am making a difference, a student or wellness client will share with me that they are making changes to their eating habits, taking better care of themselves, working out again and feeling great. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to tell me about their progress, you keep me going! I believe that the tide is turning and I will never lose hope!
